Kanopy, the streaming media and film Library database currently does not support emended video into Canvas. Instructors, please only use the direct link URL.
*It is also best practice to always include a direct link to the streaming media even if it is embedded in Canvas.
Students, if you are unable to connect to a Kanopy video, or other streaming media database due to an error from an embedded Canvas video please follow the steps below:
Locate the streaming media database from the Library's database page: https://lbcc.libguides.com/c.php?g=1050566&p=7716507
Connect to the database and look up the video by the title.
For additional assistance with troubleshooting database connection issues please contact Jeffrey Sabol @ jsabol@lbcc.edu and include the URL of the database you are attempting to connect to, the type of computer you are using, the type of browser you are using, where you are connecting to the internet from (i.e. home, work, school) and screenshots of any and all error messages you encounter.
