Statistics: Getting Started

A helpful subject guide to finding Statistics information.

Overview of Statistics Research Guide

Welcome!

This research guide pulls together a variety of online resources you may want to use if you are conducting research and need to find statistics.

This guide is intended to assist you in finding supportive statistics online. In the past few years the amount of information available online has greatly increased, and most current federal information can now be found on the internet. The Federal Government gathers many kinds of statistics divided by the nation or by states. The Census Bureau similarly gathers statistics and breaks them down further into a county and city level. Some sites gather many focused statistics relating to a particular topic or ethnic group.
